James has appeared in all levels of courts in Ontario both as trial counsel and appellate counsel. James’ practice has a particular emphasis in construction litigation, commercial litigation including mortgage enforcement work for lenders, receivership and insolvency matters and insurance/personal injury law. James is approved Law Pro defence counsel for errors and omissions claims against lawyers.In addition to the practice of law, James has been involved in volunteerism for over 25 years. James has been on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations and been involved in human rights advocacy and international affairs.Education:

Called To The Bar (ONTARIO) 1985Robert specializes in insurance litigation and in particular personal injury litigation. Robert previously worked with the Toronto Transit Commission as defence counsel and later worked with a boutique personal injury firm as defence counsel for several insurers. Robert has appeared before all levels of Courts in Ontario and has conducted numerous jury trials since his call to the Bar. Robert brought his expertise to the firm as a partner for a number of years and presently acts as counsel to the firm.
